This is a mid-level adventure for Basic/Expert style systems for 3-5 adventurers. It is created for the Appx. N Game Jam. It should be easily finished in 1 session.
The party has been hired by a historian from a magical university to explore a peculiar, ancient site atop a mountain. He believes it to house relics from a bygone era that will surely advance his career. He wants the party to clear it out of any squatters and make it safe for him and his interns to set up a camp there to study it further. Payment will be 3,000 gold coins. They can keep any valuables from denizens as long as they aren’t clearly of historical value.
